Little Miss Shy was the shyest person in the world. She was so shy, she blushed when she had to order a cup of coffee at the counter. So when she received an invitation to Mr. Happy’s Christmas party, she was terrified.
We have one of these lovely books to give away!
She imagined all the other Mr. Men and Little Miss characters laughing at her. She imagined herself tripping over her own feet and spilling eggnog on everyone. She imagined herself standing in a corner all by herself, feeling like a wallflower.
But Little Miss Shy knew that she couldn’t miss the party. It was Mr. Happy’s party, after all! And she didn’t want to let her friends down.
So she took a deep breath and decided to go.
On the day of the party, Little Miss Shy woke up early and put on her best dress. She brushed her hair and washed her face until she was sparkling clean. Then she took a deep breath and headed out the door.
When she arrived at Mr. Happy’s house, she was surprised to see that she wasn’t the first one there. Mr. Strong was already there, carrying a giant Christmas tree.
Mr. Greedy was there, carrying a plate of freshly baked Yule tree trunks. And Little Miss Naughty was there, carrying a sprig of mistletoe.
